Software Verification Specialist – EU Monster sites

Put your language skills to work as a Software Verification Specialist for Monster in the center of historic Prague! This is a challenging role with excellent growth potential, and it offers a chance to work on a multi-national team at a major internet company while exercising your skills in teamwork, testing, and software analysis.

Responsibilities:

• As part of a small team, verify Monster product functionality against written specifications and product designs.
• Test the Monster web site for country and language specific functionality.
• Create tracking tickets using a web-based defect tracking system.
• Develop test cases that ensure that all areas of the country-specific Monster functionality are tested.
• Work with the Monster Software Quality, Marketing, and Product teams on a daily basis to ensure all required functionality is understood and tested.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills are required in order to determine potential problematic areas of functionality from data contained in functional requirements documents.
• Working knowledge of spoken and written English is also required, but fluency is not.
• Fluency in one of the following languages is required: German, French, Italian, Dutch, or Spanish. Czech, Slovak, and/or Hungarian language skills helpful but not required.
• Knowledge of software development and/or software testing is helpful, for example experience performing acceptance testing for web-based software.
• Ability to work under deadlines and to forecast the appropriate time required in order to complete specific testing tasks.
