Now Hear This!"The (Big Ten Network) is really good stuff... it's just great to have this information and preview like we've never had this time of the year... it gets you pumped for the fall, that's for sure."-Iowa message board post (April 19) VIDEO: Bouncing Around the Big TenIllinois' defense posted 10 sacks in its spring gameIndiana football coach Bill Lynch recapped the Hoosiers' spring practice with our Dave Revsine Iowa received good play from two quarterbacks during its spring game Michigan legend Jim Abbott reflects upon his life in baseball with Dave Revsine Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio was pleased with the performance of his quarterbacks and playmakers during the Spartans' spring game Minnesota coach Tim Brewster is optimistic about the 2008 Gopher squad, particularly on defense Northwestern football coach Pat Fitzgerald has two new coordinators with blueprints to install an explosive offense and an attacking defense Ohio State had a huge crowd on-hand for its spring game and all eyes were on the quarterbacks Penn State quarterbacks Pat Devlin and Daryll Clark stood out during the Nittany Lions' spring game Purdue wide receiver Aaron Valentine made the play of the day during the Boilermakers' spring game Wisconsin's quality running backs were on display during the Cardinal and White game at Camp Randall Stadium They Said ItBig Ten Network football analyst Howard Griffith on what kind of offense Michigan will run this fall:"(Rich Rodriguez) can only run the offense that the players in his system can run. That's going to give Michigan the best chance at success. Once they have the personnel in place, they'll be able to run the high-powered spread offense." Big Ten Network football analyst Gerry DiNardo on the Wisconsin quarterback situation: "The running game is going to be dominant. Whoever starts at quarterback for Wisconsin, the coaches could have a quick hook. Because if it is Allan Evridge, they've given him enough time to develop. If he's not good enough, Dustin Sherer gets a chance to prove that he's the man." DiNardo on Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark: "I came away with two things when I left Penn State. I think they're the second-best team in the conference at this point behind Ohio State and Daryll Clark can be an outstanding quarterback. Penn State will have better quarterback play than a year ago. He's a perfect fit for this offense when you think of their personnel. They have outstanding wide receivers and now they're in the spread attack. They don't have a dominant runner, but Daryll Clark may be that dominant runner. They've got an outstanding line. I think it sets up perfectly for Clark to be a very good quarterback with his surrounding guys." Have you subscribed to the Big Ten Network Highlights Podcast?
