The Shoshone Point at the South Rim of Grand Canyon is a quiet place compared to the more visited Grandview point and Yaki Point. V Shoshone bod na Jižní okraj Grand Canyon je klidné místo v porovnání s více navštívil Grandview bodu a Yaki Point.

To get there from the parking place there is a two-mile round trip taking you 20 min trough a forest of Ponderosa pines. Se tam dostanete z parkoviště je ve dvou-mile okruh přičemž vám 20 min koryto lese na Ponderosa borovic.

The views from the point are spectacular. Názory z místa jsou velkolepé. At northwest, you can see the South Kaibab Trail which snakes its way through Skeleton Point, at east you see Horseshoe Mesa and the Grandview Trail. Na severozápadě uvidíte Jižní Kaibab stezka, která hadů své cestě Skeleton Point, na východě uvidíte Horseshoe Mesa a Grandview stezka. Colorado River may be visible in the distance. Colorado River může být viditelná z dálky.
