Okay, alright, I LOVE American Idol. I love music but I also enjoy seeing young talented people. The bikin clad gal got what she was hoping for and that was “attention” which may have overshadowed her talent a bit. I’m happy for all those who were selected and equally as happy that some were not. Should be a good season and entertaining during this time of facing a depression.

I just can’t get into this show - it just feels like a modern battle in the Colosseum, except it’s personal identity, ego and humility at stake and not life itself - I know very many people who will disagree (obviously since it’s a hot show) but it gives me the creeps

I think I’ll catch it this time around. I like the sound of the changes to format that they’ve promised to make.

She also needs lessons in how to stand in heels one would think ;-)

I’m not an avid American Idol fan, in fact after it bein on this long, I just about lost interest. I did manage to catch last season though and I think the winner David Cook was the best pick, hands down. I didn’t make it a point to watch this new season but heard about this gal. All I can say is….Way to go hun, you have officially continued the reputation of women with bodies and who sport them like that, in that way, have no real brains or brawn. I think any girl can sing that song the way she did and a true singer can carry it like Mariah. The single reason she was sent to Hollywood was for the “show” effect. I mean come on… we have to have someone for guys to oogle at, girls to hate, and for all to laugh at whe she gets booted down the way. I guess in the end its a good deal for all. The show gets its ratings and Im sure lil’ Ms. Darrell willl end up boostin her “modeling” career. I personally cant wait for the laughs…. after all what are Bimbos good for… doin nothin but makin money off their looks and havin us laugh the whole way through… ya never know she could just be the next Anna Nicole…hahahahahahahaha. Ryan Seacrest… watch out. What am I saying, he didnt even want her kissin him. I would have washed my mouth out with bactine or something, you don’t know where that has been, as easy as it was for her to present herself like that for this type of thing, I wonder what else she gives away for other things.
